CMS Locks in MA Star Ratings Overhaul, Bumps Proposed Special Enrollment Window for Provider Terminations
Fierce Healthcare reports on CMS finalizing major changes to the Medicare Advantage star ratings system, cutting 11 administrative measures and eliminating the Health Equity Index reward. The Alliance of Community Health Plans applauded the final rule’s updates, with ACHP CEO Ceci Connolly stating “The Administration is taking important steps to improve quality and ensure MA delivers real value for consumers.
